This was a past facebook I put up 8 years ago.

It falls in the theme of Mindfulness.

Enjoy…

“Just because it's #wiseUPwednesday:

A lot fitness professionals worry too much about surface level goals. Objective goals are important. The scale. The inches. The body fat. The PRs. That's what clients THINK they are paying for.... That's what we call "results."

But me being me, I focus more on mental breakthrough instead of physical breakthroughs. I understand people can lose weight with anybody in the world. People do it daily. So my angle has always pushed the mindset rather than the body frame.

Will power vs absolute strength.

Mental reps vs drop sets.

Changing thought patterns vs counting macros.

Basically I train self-awareness.

Why do you think the way you think?

Why do you do the things you do?

Why do you fold under pressure?

Why do you give me 80% instead of 100%?

Why do some give 110% and some give 50%?

Why can't you focus on the task at hand?

What really matters in life?

What's the goal beyond the goal?

Do you know I don't plan on training you forever, what's your back up plan?

Are you proud of what you see when you look in the mirror?

Why can't you look in the mirror?

What's up with the anxiety during measurements?

How long are we going to do this seasonal training? Stop training for seasons to just let yourself go.

You know I do fire clients right? Lol

I try to touch souls not bodies.

I wanna see you sweat mentally.

Make you uncomfortable while you are already under pressure.

Got this text the other night

And was more happy to see this than to see her gain 10lbs of muscle over the course of the year.

This is what counts, because if you don't have the mental capacity to be mentally great you won't have the capacity to be physically great. It goes hand and hand.

Where the mind goes, the body follows.

Mental reps hurt like hell. Worst than breaking bad physically habits. There's no foam rollers for your subconscious.

Just mental affirmations, written goals and a strong reinforcement system.”
